The Magellan NAVI app in the StarLink is quite a decent nav app (comparing to my old TomTom XXL) and also connected, so the map is virtually never obsoleting (3 years of free updates and around $150 per year after that) The nightmare that is MirrorLink, and Starlink is useless. It's 2017. The fact that Subaru hasn't full implemented Android Auto and Apple CarPlay across all models is really sad. Spent a couple hours reading nightmare after nightmare story with MirrorLink across multiple car makes including Subaru I finally found on one of the Subaru owners forums that Subaru of America have acknowledged this as a known issue that popped up after a recent app update, and that they're working on a fix. Until then, the only solution seems to be uninstalling the app. No problem.
